Destination guide

Let’s talk Amsterdam.

For an Amsterdam meeting or residential conference, start by deciding how the spaces should work together: meeting, sleeping, dining and spending time as a group.

One venue, or a combination of spaces?

Tell us whether you would prefer a hotel with meeting facilities or a separate event venue and accommodation. Include any evening plans and how much travelling between locations the group can reasonably accommodate.

What to include in your Amsterdam brief

  • Group size and the purpose of the gathering.
  • One venue or separate meeting and accommodation spaces.
  • Required bedrooms and arrival/departure dates.
  • Technical facilities, breakouts and accessibility priorities.
  • Travel points, budget and any date flexibility.

Make room for the conversations between sessions

If collaboration and networking are central to the event, describe those activities in the brief. Informal meeting space and the flow between sessions can be as relevant as the capacity of the main room.
